Lash Extensions Langford
At New U Esthetics, whether it is classic eyelash extension or volume eyelash extension, our certified team of experts makes you feel more glamorous than you thought possible with the best lash extensions in Langford, BC.
The main method of applying the lash extensions is by using adhesive lash glue to stick the extensions to the eyelash line individually. The lashes are placed hair by hair on your lashes so that your lashes are therefore extended. False lashes and lash extensions are not the same. Just like natural eyelashes, the extensions fall out. They needed to be filled up about every three weeks.
A method where one lash extension is glued to 1 natural lash. This method is also known as 1 to 1 or 1:1. Classic lashes are perfect for clients who already have a lot of lashes but want to add more length. Classic lashes look more natural.
Multiple lashes are applied to one single natural eyelash, individually isolating one natural eyelash at a time using very thin lashes. If two lash extensions are applied to one natural lash, it’s described as 2D. If three lash extensions are applied to one natural eyelash, then it’s described as 3D etc.
When using the Russian Volume technique, the lash artist applies more than just one extension to each natural lash, fanning them out to give the illusion that more lashes are growing from one spot. The actual thickness of the lash extensions also dictates how many lashes can be used in a fan or bouquet. The rule of thumb is that the thinner or lighter the lash extension is, the more it can be used in a single fan. There could be five lashes in one fan or 7-8 lashes in one fan, called 5d’s or 10 D’s lashes.
Volume lashes are lighter, fluffier, and give the client a fuller look. Volume lashes are perfect for clients who don’t have a lot of lashes, have sparse lashes, bald spots or just want a more dramatic look without using a thicker lash.

Lash lifting is a process in which the eyelashes are given a curl using a silicon roller and a Synthetic solution.
Forty-eight hours before the appointment, the solution is patch-tested on the client’s skin to ensure no allergy. On the appointment day, a silicon roller is placed over the eye, and the lashes are curled upwards using another roller, and a setting solution is used to stick the lashes on the silicon roller.
Then a lifting solution is applied to the lashes for a gorgeous appearance and well-curved lashes. After 50-60 minutes, you’ll have the required results. The effect of eyelash lifting stays for 4-6 weeks.
Things to remember
The size and shape of the rollers will be selected upon your choice and requirement of the lashes, so be specific about what you want.
The application of mascara and even lashes with water are avoided for 24 hours after the treatment.
Your lashes should be at least 4 mm in length for the desired results. Otherwise, the process won’t be that effective.
The process involves the use of chemicals, which can be hazardous if handled carelessly. Make sure your beautician is certified and has experience in lash lifting. We at New U Esthetics promise elegant eyelash grooming by professionally trained and qualified estheticians.
